Uganda Wildlife Authority to Work More Closely with UTA

Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) is planning to work more closely with the Uganda Tourism Association (UTA) to improve tourism in the country. The two organisations met on July 22 to discuss how they can join efforts to support the growth of tourism in Uganda.

During the meeting, the Executive Director of UWA, Dr. James Musinguzi, explained how important it is for different groups to work together to support Uganda’s National Development Plan. He said that strong partnerships between government agencies and private tourism groups like UTA can lead to great progress in the tourism sector.

This new collaboration will focus on bringing real and positive change to the tourism industry. Both UWA and UTA believe that by working together, they can help attract more visitors to Uganda and improve the country’s image as a top travel destination.

Tourism is a big part of Uganda’s economy, and both organisations are committed to using this partnership to make the sector stronger and more organised. They hope that this teamwork will create new opportunities for tour operators, conservationists, and local communities involved in tourism.

With better planning, communication, and shared goals, UWA and UTA believe their partnership will help Uganda reach its tourism and development goals more quickly and effectively.
